'Times paywall has more than 360,000 subscribers'

Interesting post here from Gordon MacMillan on The Wall which says The Times has more than 360,000 subscribers since introducing the paywall, according to figures released by Nielsen today.

Miserable statistics when you think the fee asked is £1 a month. It's not a business model that anyone with a brain would follow.

That's not right at all. 360,000 uniques includes all of the print subscribers who all get in free, lots of people on a free trial and a spike when the paywall fell over.
