BBC broadcast unions call off next week's strike

The broadcasting unions at the BBC, including the NUJ, have withdrawn next week's strike pending a consultative ballot on an improved pension offer. It means Prime Minister David Cameron's speech to the Conservative party conference will not be blacked out.

New potential strike days have been called for 25/6th.
