NUJ strike doubters: BBC stars or toadies?

Contrasting take on the call by BBC political journalists for the NUJ and the broadcasting unions not to black-out next week's Tory conference in the dispute over pensions.

The Daily Mail splash is headlined 'BBC Stars Condemn Militant Strikers' and its story says: "Many of the corporation’s most respected presenters and reporters, including Jeremy Paxman and Nick Robinson, said the action would make viewers think the BBC was biased against the Conservative Party."

But, Steve Bell in the Guardian portrays them as a bunch of toadies.
