The Dunfermline Press has apologised to readers and reprinted the paper after it appeared without its sports pages last week.
Managing editor Simon Harris said in an apology in the paper this week: "We're aware that folk weren't talking about the Press for the right reasons last week. A printing error meant that last week's Press appeared on Thursday morning without the sports pages. While the error was beyond our control here in Dunfermline, the Press would like to apologise sincerely to all our readers. We took what steps we could as soon as we could to help put things right, with a reprinted Press available for exchange in the shops on Thursday afternoon."
