Boris: £250,000 Telegraph deal is 'chicken feed'

London Mayor Boris Johnson is shown on the BBC website today describing his £250,000 a year contract with the Telegraph as "chicken feed."
He made the remarks in an interview with Stephen Sackur for the Hardtalk programme. Sakur tackles Johnson over the column by mentioning Conservative Party leader David Cameron's announcement at the end of June that all shadow cabinet members must give up any other jobs they hold by the end of the year.
Johnson says he is an extremely fast writer and finds writing articles relaxing.
The full interview will air on BBC News Channel at 11.30pm tonight (14th July 2009) and is also available to view on iPlayer.
