The revelation that Milly Dowler's phone was hacked and the many legs the story subsequently sprouted happened a couple of days after Private Eye came out making that edition instantly irrelevant.
It must have been hellishly frustrating for Eye staff having to wait two weeks before they could present their unique take on Hackgate(sorry!)
Haven't see it the latest edition yet but as along time Eye fan I'm anticipating something special.
