The Independent didn't pull its punches with this photo caption on its website today on a story about what the Italian PM thinks of his German counterpart.
UPDATE: The caption now changed to the more polite: "Angela Merkel has been the latest victim of Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi's sexist language". But the paper still carries the quote in its story based on wiretaps of Berlusconi's conversations reported in the Italian press.

Well, it isn't a libelous statement!
Sigh. Truthful or not, I do not think, that Berlusconi owns the respect, needed for such a position.
