NAPA to hold news pictures workshop in London

The National Association of Press Agencies is staging a one-day workshop aimed at those involved in the supply of news pictures to explore the latest changes in the marketplace.
The event at the Grange City Hotel, London, on 12 June, will include discussions on copyright, technical developments, picture storage, access and distribution to news media, as well as sales and the new opportunities presented from growing markets such as video. It costs £46 per person, excluding VAT.
NAPA vice chairman Michael Leidig said: "There have been a lot of changes and challenges recently and we wanted to stage a forum for news photo agencies to discuss and compare notes and devise smarter ways of working."
