NUJ fears more Brum cuts

The NUJ has asked Trinity Mirror to "come clean" about plans for its Birmingham titles. The union claims to have seen internal documents in which it is proposed to axe eight weekly titles in the Midlands and reduce the frequency of the daily Birmingham Post to a weekly or bi-weekly.
It also believes the Birmingham Mail may be switched to overnight printing and the Post and Mail put under one editor.
