More job cuts have been proposed at The Argus in Brighton, Journalism.co.uk reports today.
Two subbing jobs are said to be under threat and follow a series of redundancies in January.
The paper's NUJ chapel is understood to be holding a ballot on industrial action.
Journalism.co.uk says there is speculation among staff members that the Argus will move 'most if not all' of its production to Southampton in the future.
