KMG political editor uses FoI to reveal £109,000 cost of police raids on MP

Kent Messenger Group political editor Paul Francis has used the Freedom of Information Act to reveal that the police operation which involved raids on the home and Commons' office of Tory Damian Green in the hunt for a Home Office mole cost £109,000, HoldtheFrontPage reports today.
No charges were ever brought against the Ashford MP. The revelations are carried in Green's local paper the Kentish Express following the successful request by Francis, an expert in using the Freedom of Information Act.
