HoldtheFrontPage reports today that the Woking News and Mail closed by the Guardian Media Group in March is back on the streets.
Local family business Knaphill Print and Web is backing the revived News and Mail, which reappeared last Thursday with a new masthead.
New editor Hilary Gavin told HTFP the paper, first published 117 years ago, has relaunched as a monthly title but the aim is to bring it fortnightly then back to weekly. A team of freelance journalists and photographers are working on the paper.
