Hold the front pews: Carols at St. Bride's will be in aid of Journalists' Charity

This year's carol service for journalists at St. Bride's, Fleet Street, on Monday, 15 December is sponsored by Luther Pendragon and will be in aid of the Journalists' Charity, formerly known as the Newspaper Press Fund. Tickets, costing £10 per person can be reserved via carols@luther.co.uk. The service starts at 6.30pm. Among those giving readings will be BBC political editor Nick Robinson, Mail and Independent columnist Stephen Glover and Observer news editor and Journalists' Charity vice-chairman Chris Boffey. The Journalists' Charity is anticipating increasing calls for help in the next year because of the high number of redundancies being announced across the media.
