News:Rewired aims to switch on journalists

Journalism.co.uk is marking its 10th birthday by organising a one day conference, under the heading news:rewired, in London in January which will bring together leading multimedia journalists and digital news editors.
Journalism.co.uk says news:rewired is an event for working journalists, trainees, journalism students and academics to learn new multimedia, social media and online skills from those with first-hand experience. It promises the event will be informal – with plenty of time for questions, networking and forming new partnerships.
"It's always been our goal to educate as well as observe at Journalism.co.uk, and news:rewired represents the culmination of our accumulated efforts in that direction over the past decade," said Journalism.co.uk founder John Thompson.
News:rewired takes place on 14 January 2010 at London's City University from 10am – 5:15pm. tickets are £80+ VAT.
