Newsquest strikers will target PCC Southampton open day in protest over company's pay freeze


NUJ members at Newsquest Southampton have called two sets of 48-hour strikes, starting on Tuesday 9-10 November and Tuesday 16-17 November, in protest at the company's continuing pay freeze.

On the first day of strike action, the NUJ strikers will be protesting outside the Press Complaints Commission open day at Southampton City Art Gallery where Baroness Buscombe, chair of the PCC and Ian Murray, editor of the Southern Daily Echo, will be attending.
