Backers of the planned new London free the London Weekly have confirmed the title will launch on 1 February with 250,000 print run – and its website will go live this month, MediaGuardian reports today.
In a statement, the company behind the launch, Global Publishing Group, said it was "a partnership formed in 2008 by five private investors" who had raised £10.5m to launch the new title.
