Daily Telegraph assistant editor and columnist Andrew Pierce, who made countless broadcasting appearances over the paper's MPs' expenses scoop, is to join the Daily Mail as consultant editor, Press Gazette reports today.
Pierce will take a leading writing and reporting role on the Mail and have his own column. He joined the Telegraph as assistant editor in 2006 from The Times.
