RWB and CNN launch press freedom video contest

Together with CNN, press freedom campaign group Reporters Without Borders invites students enrolled at accredited U.S. colleges or universities in the 50 states to participate in the “For Press Freedom” Contest, to help raise awareness on freedom of information.

Students are challenged to create a high-quality, effective video PSA of up to 50 seconds that answers the question “Why should we care about freedom of information?”

One winning video will air on CNN on World Press Freedom Day (May 3, 2012), selected by an international jury of human rights leaders and media professionals.
