It was confirmed today that new-owner Trinity Mirror will move the Manchester Evening News and its associated weeklies to Oldham this autumn.
A planning application has been submitted to Oldham Council to refurbish three floors of a disused building at Hollinwood Avenue, Chadderton, where Trinity Mirror, which bought the MEN from Guardian Media Group in February, already prints all MEN Media titles as well as the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo.
