Dept of Culture and Media? More like Interflora

BBC News political journalist Brian Wheeler reporting on David Cameron's first Prime Minister's Questions notes:"A whimsical moment as Mr Cameron tells of a government department which spent £140 per member of staff on cut flowers and pot plants. I wonder if we could guess which one, teases the Tory leader, "perhaps we could have a lottery". Tell us, cry a few MPs. They don't like being kept in the dark..."
It didn't take long for journalists to find out. According to the Guardian's PMQs live blog and News of the World's deputy political editor Jamie Lyons' blog it was the Department of Culture, Media and Sport that liked to say it with flowers.
