Kelvin MacKenzie gives the Scots another bashing
Here's another reason why Kelvin MacKenzie's Sun column doesn't appear in the Scottish Sun.
Writing about the controversial decision to move BBC1's Question Time to Glasgow, he notes that the editor has quit rather than go to Scotland.
"Who can blame him?" asks MacKenzie. "Freezing cold, miserable people, with an unintelligible language, dropping dead at 37 halfway through their ninth pint and seventh Mars bar of the day."
The former Sun editor, a regular Question Time guest, adds: "Sheer lunacy. I am sick and tired of London losing jobs to the regions under some kind of quaint social balancing. There are more Scots working at the BBC in London than work in BBC Scotland."
