Johnston pic fail: It's curtains for the jazz band
Another Johnston Press picture fail for the collection. This time it's the Scarborough Evening News that strikes the wrong note by decapitating a jazz band.
This is so much better than the page they expected to appear! Templated space. Picture without the subject in it. Headline that only gets close to fitting on the last of three lines, and unforgivably is shyest on the top line. Perhaps it's a good job we can't read the body copy. Heaven knows what horrors we would find.
