The London Evening Standard reports today that Mayor of London Boris Johnson was asked by reporters if he was the father of consultant Helen Mcintyre's baby when he launched two cycle superhighways in the capital this morning.
The Standard reports the Mayor simply replied: "I think this is a fantastic cycle superhighway and I hope people will enjoy it."
Pressed further he said: "I'm not getting distracted by any adverse headlines."
