Sydney Morning Herald journalist Paul McGeough who was on one of the ships in the Gaza convoy is
interviewed on the paper's website about the raid by Israeli commandos.
McGeough says the deportations of those on the flotilla showed "no respect for the fundamentals of democracy, no respect for the fundamentals of the rights of journalists under the Geneva Convention."
Sydney Morning Herald photographer Kate Geraghty, who was with McGeough, was strip searched but manged to hide three photocards with pictures of the raid.
