Court specialist and journalism lecturer Tim Crook's latest blog concentrates on this week's Court of Appeal ruling on the alleged CIA torture of a British resident, alleged collusion by MI5, whether redacted paragraphs dealing with the allegations should be released in a High Court ruling, and the defence of MI5 by Director-General Jonathan Evans.
Tim says: "The UK government and its lawyers have to come to terms with an unassailable and incontrovertible reality. They have been unanimously defeated through the proper and due process of law."
